Touch type 2 is an on screen typing tutor which helps you learn to type at your own speed. With the help of graphs, you can monitor your own progress and improve on where you need more practice. Touch type 2 helps to optimise the time you spend practising, by analysing your performance and deciding where you need most practise.

With the new classroom feature the teacher can monitor the progress of a group of students simultaneously.

You also have the option of using the sound effects feature, which can be turned on or off, and a voice that will call out the letters for you to type, so it is just like having your own personal tutor.

Touch type 2 can be used to teach keyboard skills to a variety of ages, from the young beginner to people returning to work to 'brush up' on their skills. Touch type 2 is used by special needs schools and home users, in particular, use by the blind or partially sighted, who are assisted by the voice tutor.

Touch type 2 is highly recommended and praised for use with visually impaired students. The combination of a fully-scalable interface (the on-screen elements get larger as you increase the size of the display), flexible display (choose text sizes, colours and typeface) and spoken cues make Touch type 2 an ideal solution. It is backed up by a clear, printed manual listing all the exercises which can be easily photocopied and/or enlarged as needed. The software is suitable for use with all ages, and has a long track record of use across the country.

The software is normally supplied on CD ROM. If you are using it with a laptop without a CD drive, we offer a version on a USB stick for £6.00 extra.
Notes: The heavily-discounted "Site" prices are for fixed networks of computers, rather than laptops which can be taken off-site. They contain just a single copy of the software and accompanying manual, and paperwork documenting the scope/size of the licence.

If you need to split the licence, or use it on mobile computers (eg. ones which pupils can take home), then you'll need a discounted pack of indvidual licences. These are available at generous prices depending on how many physical CDs/manuals are needed, but examples are shown below:

5 licences with 1x CDs/manuals: £150 + carriage (roughly £30 per copy)
10 licences with 1x CDs/manuals: £250 + carriage (roughly £25 per copy)
10 licences with 10 CDs/manuals: £280 + carriage (roughly £28 per copy)
50 licences with 1x CD/manual: £800 + carriage (roughly £16 per copy)
etc. up to 50 liceces with 50x CD/manual: £1000 + carriage
